Lulung is a village in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha, India, known as an entrance to the Similipal National Park and a popular picnic and nature retreat. It is situated along the Palpala river and offers a peaceful environment with a forest lodge, river-side cottages, and the opportunity for adventure and wildlife viewing, including potential elephant sightings. It is approximately 15-25 kilometers from Baripada town. The Pithabata entry gate for the national park is located nearby. The area is home to many endangered and endemic species of flora and fauna. Visitors may sometimes see herds of elephants.
